The shielded CAT8 field termination plug is designed specifically for CAT8 bulk cable. This 8 pin 8 conductor (8p8c) plug has 50 micro inch gold plated contacts for superior signal conductivity. The wire alignment insert provides an efficient termination without a crimp tool, although a cable stripper is recommended to prepare the cable for termination. This connector has been rated for PoE and is capable of power transfer.
This connector housing is shielded with zinc die-cast nickel plating. This makes our CAT8 plugs more durable while being less prone to corrosion and rust. All our CAT8 plugs come standard with two different sizes of boots. These boots provide better stress relief support around the connection point of the cable and connector.
